Clients of all cultural backgrounds, ethnicities, gender identities, sexual orientations, and religions are welcome.

I work best with couples who…

  • Are willing to try new things and experiment

  • Are willing to take time outside of therapy sessions for tasks and homework exercises suggested in therapy

  • Value growth and honest feedback

Approach

Every individual and couple is unique. The first few sessions will be devoted to assessment so that I can gain an understanding of both people as individuals, the current state of the relationship, as well as your relationship history. We will also discuss goals for therapy.

Typical sessions will involve both partners together, occasional individual sessions, communication exercises, homework activities, and goal tracking.

I utilize an integrative therapeutic approach based in (but not limited to) Gottman Method Therapy and Relational Life Therapy (RLT, a style of couples therapy developed by Terry Real, LICSW).

I have completed Gottman Method level 1 and 2 certification courses in addition to Relational Life Therapy trainings provided by Terry Real.
